Debbie Lane BSc (Hons) Chiro. DC LRCC

Debbie developed an interest in chiropractic after suffering a back injury in 1992. She spent nine months taking medication, resting and trying various treatments. Any benefit was only short term and within a week or two of treatment she was back to suffering pain again.

This was what Debbie had been looking for. The difference was that over the course of the treatment she achieved lasting improvements. Over the next few months as she continued to improve Debbie started rehabilitation exercises under her chiropractor’s careful supervision. Today Debbie still has regular chiropractic care to keep her back in good condition.

Debbie decided to train to become a chiropractor and to help other people in the way that she had been helped. Debbie has an ambition to educate people about chiropractic and how it can change their lives.

Debbie studied for four years full-time at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic to obtain a BSc honours degree in Chiropractic. She continued to study over the fifth year whilst working in clinics in Preston and Wakefield to obtain a further diploma in chiropractic and the title Doctor of Chiropractic. Some Chiropractors use the title Dr, Debbie has chosen not to.

Debbie is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of both the British Chiropractic Association and The Royal College of Chiropractors.

Debbie lives in Hebden Bridge and wanted to bring Chiropractic to the people of the Calder Valley and surrounding area. She set up Hebden Bridge Chiropractic in 2003 and is pleased to say that chiropractic has been very well received in the area. Many patients come to chiropractic through word of mouth from existing patients.

Debbie is registered with AXA-PPP, and most other insurance companies. Debbie has trained with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute) to teach pilates.
